Renewable and Non-renewable resources

1. What do you mean by renewable resources?

Ans: The resources which are not limited in supply and can be replaced after use are called as renewable resources.

For example: Sunlight, wind etc.

2. What do you mean by Non-renewable resources?

Ans: The resources which are limited in supply and cannot be replaced once they are used are called as non-renewable resources.

For example: coal, oil, natural gas etc.

3. What is renewable energy?

Ans: The energy which is collected from renewable resources like sunlight, wind, rain etc. and can be regenerated is called renewable energy.

4. What is non-renewable energy?

Ans: The energy which is collected from non-renewable resources like coal, oil etc. and can not be regenerated is called non-renewable energy.

5. Write four differences between renewable resources and non-renewable resources.

These resources are unlimited.

These resources are limited.

They will be regenerated again.

They will not be regenerated.

They are environment friendly.

They cause pollution.

Ex: Sunlight, wind, rain etc.

Ans: Four kinds fuel used for various purposes are:

Ans: We may have problems like:
